How to Use Deep Conditioner
If you've started to commit into embracing your natural curls (good for you!) and have bought all the starter products, you may find yourself curious about slightly more leveled-up products like a Deep Conditioner.
It may sound deep, but it's not actually as complicated as it seems.
Before everything else, why is it so important? We all know that curls can be pretty thirsty when it comes to moisture. And that's exactly what this product is for:
Deep con = more moisture
Needless to say, satisfied curls are happy curls. Which means that you'll have less frizz, less dryness, and more beautiful curls that are easier to style and manage.
Here are some important things to note when you use a deep conditioner:
1. Apply to clean hair
2. Leave from 30 mins to 1 hr
Let the deep conditioner sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour before rinsing off. Focus on applying to your ends.
Tip: While letting it sit, you can use a shower cap and apply heat (blow dry or the steam from hot shower) for better absorption.
3. Use it 3-5 times a month
If you are wavy, you may need less deep conditioning as it may cause to over moisturize and weigh down your hair. On the other hand, if you have tighter curls or coils, you need to deep condition at least once a week.
